So. Montville, 1972

I recently found some new images of that we took back in 1972 when we started to fix up the Hart Place in South Montville, Maine. Click on image to view it in more detail.
This is a similar view that I previously posted. (see below)

My wife Emily with our beloved cat Patooti. It looks like we have started some work. The pipe hand railings have been removed from around the doorway.

The new owners pretending they have bought a wreck-we were so naive.

View from the road. The new electrical service has been installed. When the linesmen from the Central Maine Power came to disconnect the old service they grabbed the old wire with a large wire cutter to sever it from the old service. I mentioned quietly if had they noticed that the wire was directly connected to the main coming from the pole and therefore was hot?
After a quick double take they stopped and figured out a better way. This shows it before they changed it over.
The garden. I was so impressed that Emily knew something about gardening!
